Kansas City Public Schools integrated a concern reporting page after an incident where a student was killed on campus. Stakeholders submit the type of concern (bullying, drugs/alcohol, fighting, or personal crisis), the campus where it occurred, the date of the incident, and the description of the concern. Users indicate who they are (student, parent/guardian, community member, or employee) then list their contact information, with the option to hide their contact information. KCPS launched the concern page with a letter and poster both designed by K12 Insight. The posters hang in every school building and feature a text line to report concerns and a QR code linking to the custom form. Click here to see how KCPS set up their concern reporting custom form.
