Rockford Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Ehren Jarrett used a custom form to collect feedback from staff members to supplement his campus listening tour. On the form, users indicated their role (teacher, paraprofessional, principal, assistant principal), campus location, type of submission (question, comment, suggestion, concern), and their feedback. Name, email, and phone fields were optional. The dialogues were auto-closing with an automatic reply. Dr. Jarrett’s listening tour involved visiting each campus within the district to gather staff feedback. Before each visit, flyers were sent to each staff member to promote the tour and custom form. At the end of each visit, he passed out his business card designed by K12 Insight to open the door to further communication. Dr. Jarrett plans to summarize his findings two times per year.
