Enhancing resource management for greater flexibility and accuracy
The December Let’s Talk release is here, bringing user-requested updates to the Resource Center. These enhancements are designed to make managing your district’s resources even easier, ensuring they remain relevant, accurate, and well-organized.
If you’re new to using the Resource Center, it powers essential features like Let’s Talk Assistant, generative AI dialogue replies, and the Knowledge Base — helping your district provide timely, high-quality customer service.
Updates Inspired by Our Let’s Talk Community
We’re excited to introduce these updates, shaped by feedback from our Let’s Talk users:
- New Resource Visibility Controls for Knowledge Base
System admins can now designate resources as public, internal, or hidden, giving you more control over how resources are used. By default, resources are public and available in Let’s Talk Assistant and Knowledge Base unless adjusted. To ensure privacy, all existing internal articles will be automatically deselected from Let’s Talk Assistant profiles. - Display Web Pages and Documents in the Knowledge Base
It’s now easier for customers and team members to find the information they need. System admins can decide which resources — including scanned web pages and uploaded documents — appear in the Knowledge Base, streamlining access to relevant content. - Resource Expiration Date Updates
Building on last month’s release, you now have the option to remove expiration dates from resources that no longer need them. Additionally, when displaying documents and webpages in your public knowledge base, any expired content will automatically be hidden. This ensures that both your public knowledge base and generative AI features reflect only the most current and accurate information.
